This car is my favorite R34. It's a perfect example of how a Time Attack Skyline should look like. Best thing of it all, it has the performance figures to back it up. Last year, during the Revspeed Time Attack Challenge at Tsukuba, Mspeed achieved the fastest time of 54:481 seconds, making it the fastest Skyline of the day. This year, they'll return and will be facing some stiff competition from the Prostock R34 and Nagisa Auto R34. I can't wait for the coverage that Mike will be posting...

Over the past few years I have collected a lot of photo's from all sorts of cars that are of interest to me. As my favorite brand is Nissan, and the car that I like the most is the Skyline R34, you can figure I have a vast amount of pictures of these cars from all over the world.... In looking through my photo collection, I thought it would be interesting to try and decide on the best R34 GT-R out there .... It's a really hard question to answer! Let's look though some tuned R34s that...

Time for a little more Nissan goodness from the archive as I post up a few of the track-tuned Skyline GT-R's I've spotted at Tsukuba Circuit over the past year. There is no place where a GT-R is more at home than running around a track like Tsukuba. It is surely one of the best places in Japan to see tuned GT-R's at their best. The car has stood the test of time and even the oldest BNR32 GT-R models are still found in abundance at Japan's racing circuits. Nearly seven years after they disappeared from the market, the original RB26-powered GT-R is still one of the quintessential Japanese performance cars....

Just a quick, random snap from my point & shoot Canon Ixy Digital 910 IS pocket camera. When we first began talking about our Southern Cali theme this month, I made the statement that "if you live in Southern California, you could pretty much do something car related every single day of the week if you wanted to." What I'm talking about is car meets, car shows, race events, tradeshows, and yes, even club events . These type of club events are a bit more rare; they're definitely...

This R34 was spotted by JT-Culture during the Japanese Tuning Show on Silverstone. It caught my eye because of the unusual color of the engine. It reminded me of the Project Mu signature color they use on their brakes. The single turbo conversion with a To4Z turbo from HKS also helps to attract attention.. The wheels are a set of Volk Ce28. The color of the wheels and the Bayside blue of the Skyline are a perfect match. -Jeroen Willemsen JT-Culture

Once a week I always check the Japanese Yahoo auctions for cars. It's just a habit I have, a lot of the times there's some real junk, but there's always one seller that seems to have the most well built Skylines. I'm talking about Global Auto, that name should sound familiar to at least some of you guys. When I was browsing today I spotted this monster R34 Skyline with a massive spec. list. I don't even know where to begin! So I'll guess I will start at the front where the...

Even if you don't own a GTR, you need to bow down to MCR - Matchless Crowd Racing. Located just outside of Tokyo in Saitama, Japan, MCR is one of the top names for building Skylines for high speed racing on the wangan. (aka: expressway/freeway,dual carriageway, depending on where you live) Super fresh. -Antonio Alvendia MCR: Matchless Crowd Racing

Very well known across Europe, Sumo Power is one of the UK's best known shops catering to Japanese cars. Their Z33 350zed sports wild Do-Luck body work, but it's outfitted with extremely functional parts too! This is the same car they used in the D1GB events in the past, but minus all the decals! This pink Sumo Power 350Z is for sale by the way. Click here for details on the car. Sumo Power's headquarters are inside a huge Victorian-era building at Sheerness docks in Kent, UK! Inside...

I was at Tsukuba Circuit last week when I "came upon" the famous Mine's R34 Skyline GT-R undergoing some sort of tire testing for Bridgestone. While everyone may be talking about the R35, I was reminded just how impressive the R34 is while watching this car rip around the track. Lap times were in the 59 second range. Here are few photos I managed to snap of this beast-

Ok next film. Let's look at the Signal Auto R34 Skyline GTR as presented by its builder: Kousuke Kida. This car previously was a championship winning drag car in Japan but now spends its life going sideways in the Formula Drift championship. I should probably say more about it here but I'm too tired after a long day at the NFS studio... brain... not... working..... send.... help........ :Rod Chong Formula Drift Signal Auto
