Time for a little more Nissan goodness from the archive as I post up a few of the track-tuned Skyline GT-R's I've spotted at Tsukuba Circuit over the past year. There is no place where a GT-R is more at home than running around a track like Tsukuba. It is surely one of the best places in Japan to see tuned GT-R's at their best. The car has stood the test of time and even the oldest BNR32 GT-R models are still found in abundance at Japan's racing circuits. Nearly seven years after they disappeared from the market, the original RB26-powered GT-R is still one of the quintessential Japanese performance cars....

On our trip to the UK earlier this year, I came face to face with a big pink monster. Get any ideas of fuzzy dinosaurs out of your head - I'm talking about a pink R33 Skyline drag monster from Sumo Power, in the UK. This car is very well known in the UK - it's gotten features inked from all the big magazines out there; this R33 has been stirring up quite a bit of attention from its performance numbers and overall impact! The vehicle is a 1994 Nissan Skyline GTR, which was imported from Japan...

The Autovisie Time Attack is a Dutch event that takes place on Circuit Park Zandvoort. They have different classes in which people can drive their cars. I will show the Pro Street class because it's the most fun and it only allows cars that are streetlegal. This year the fastest time (2:00.163) was driven by Kevin Go in the R33 you see in the picture above. The car has a 900bhp engine build by GT-Art in the UK. Kevin came with the car in the morning, not on a trailer but just with the car itself...

Very well known across Europe, Sumo Power is one of the UK's best known shops catering to Japanese cars. Their Z33 350zed sports wild Do-Luck body work, but it's outfitted with extremely functional parts too! This is the same car they used in the D1GB events in the past, but minus all the decals! This pink Sumo Power 350Z is for sale by the way. Click here for details on the car. Sumo Power's headquarters are inside a huge Victorian-era building at Sheerness docks in Kent, UK! Inside...

Bee*R is one of those companies that is famous for one thing, building bad ass Skyline's. Their best known car is the yellow D1GP R324, the base car is a R32 but Bee*R has made a body kit conversion so that the front of the car looks like a R34. The entire body kit conversion was designed and perfected in house. The R33 you see here is a bit different than we would normally see from Bee*R. This car was built as a road legal circuit car. One of the things I learned when building a circuit car...
