A new week of Speedhunting is about to kick off, but before we get stuck in, it’s time to take a look at some of the videos we’ve been checking out over the past seven days.
Let’s get things started with a new clip from AMS Performance…
Over the past 12 months we’ve seen the potential of Nissan’s GT-R reach all new acceleration and speed heights, and there’s no sign that those at the top of the game are going to stop pushing for lower ETs and faster MPH trap times anytime soon. AMS has been building quick R35s since the very beginning, and its wildest creation yet – Alpha G – has just been unleashed. Engineered to produces 2500hp from 70psi boost, the Diamond’s By Wire GT-R was recently given a shakedown at Great Lakes Dragway in Union Grove, Wisconsin, where on a slippery surface that allowed only 50psi and 2000hp to be used, the Nissan ran 7.54 @ 195mph. Yep, we can’t wait to see what this thing can do at Shift-S3ctor Pikes Peak Airstrip Attack next weekend!
Next up, it’s the third short film in Blackbird Automotive’s The Breakfast Club mini series. The Outsider tells the story of McLaren’s domination of the Can-Am championship between 1967 and 1970, while taking a closer look at a superb M6B/GT.
There’s a good chance you’ve already seen some footage of Mark Higgin’s latest record-setting lap of Isle of Man TT course in a specially prepared (and factory backed) Subaru Impreza WRX STI, but there’s no way we couldn’t include it in our roundup this week.
Sticking with the Isle of Man TT, but trading four wheels for two, our final video this week is a teaser for a new 20-minute film directed by Luke Huxham. This iconic race has claimed more than 200 lives since its inception, but despite the odds, riders keep coming back year after year. In Loving Memory documents the IoM TT’s appeal, through the eyes of first-time racers and seasoned competitors alike.

Our new film for D1 GP driver No.61 A-Zhi.
He is the only driver who came from Taiwan.
It’s hard to find a driver can drift like him in Taiwan.
Because racing in here was just started.
He didn’t stand on the podium in this film. Even he knows he has no chance to win.
He choose to fight because he was tracing his dream for D1 GP year and year.
In Taiwan, every racers laughed at him. They thought N0.61 A-Zhi was tracing an impossible dream.
As an racing cinematographer, I don’t think so.
His story should let more people understand. Tell people even you just have 1% to win the game, you still can stand and fight.
