On the feature car front, September was definitely a diverse month. From American pro-touring racecars, to reimagined European classics, to a hypercar concept that never got the production green light and even a drift-spec kei truck. With those cars and pretty much everything else in between, there truly was something for everyone. And on that note, now’s the time when you get to pick your favourite.
In the order they appeared on the site during the month, take another look at September’s 21 feature cars below (you can revisit the stories by clicking the links) and then cast your vote in the comments section.

What a great month! from the raw engineering of the Anglia, the originality of the 2jz Mopar, the refinement and quality of the Lightspeed Classic. all of these cars have that special quality that makes them stand out. I congratulate the builders of these beautiful vehicles, to choose one above them all would be unfair this month.
The Cambird Z06. It's KITT's psychotic race-car cousin.
For me, it's a tight call between the Polo, the Lotus and the NISMO. I am a GT-R otaku however, the power and torque from that Polo just go to show how tuneable some small cars can be. I am sorry if this has just been me rambling on a bit but it is just my 2 pence on the matter.
light speed classic .. it a lot of work done in that car.
This month was full of awesome builds, and it's tough to chose my favorite/favorites. My overall pick has to be the Mantide. That car makes me drool everytime I see it. Some other personal favorites include the Cambird Z06, the super clean E30, and then the Jaguar Hybrid.
M3 E30... and the Golf Mk2.
Nismo GT-R and Driftworks Hachiroku
R34, DW86 and the 2JZ Mopar
For me, it's the Lightspeed Classic Porsche!
BNR34
It was a great month, with an inspiring diversity. Keep it up.
After a bit of thinking I'd take the Anglia over all the others for these reasons: It's got to be the lightest of any car here. No stance garbage. Easily the rawest driving experience of all the cars here, the most barebones and the most likely to slap a huge "WTF" smile all over my chevy chase while I'm bombing down my favorite back road.
A lot of the cars featured in September were about unique speed and to me the Anglia is a car I've never heard of and has to deliver on every aspect of what I'd build a car to be. No fancy body kit, no care about looks, total function, total speed machine. I'd bet hand over a fist of dollars the Anglia is faster around an AX course than any car featured in this entire month.
Allright. I like three projects here, the VW Golf Mk2 from Japan, the Toyota DW86 from UK and the Juke-R.

I'll choose the Juke-R, altough I would vote all three of them if I could.
Lightspeed.
Lotus.

I don't find the comments section useful for this purpose. No one is engaging in a constructive discussion. Some people are even throwing multiple choices in a single comment.
Bring back the voting system or just pick the most read/viewed post like last year. If there was an automated voting system, the Driftworks AE86 would have surpassed the other competitors by a big margin. Consequently, until you fix this...
My vote is: Driftworks AE86.
JoshuaWhitcombe You might as well add the whole list. Just pick one, brother!
ligthspeed for daily use, boxster for racing for me...
Anglia.
More kei vehicles please.. Would love to see a Honda beat on here or a cappuccino.. More grassroots stuff as well !
lotus, the cameo, mk2 golf,the r34,
No doubt the http://www.speedhunters.com/2014/09/the-dragon-meets-air/ one of the best cars I have ever seen.
Where is the car feature of that finnish RS4 that was promised at the start of the month?
I'd pilot any of those blue blooded racers away. While the air rides will be left behind 2b parked aside, tucking in their tails in fear of true speed and mechanical prowess. While the drifters will asphyxiate by excessive smoke inhalation, that's if they survived against odds of bashing anything that was parked aside earlier. Bless those vegetables...
My heart goes for the Exige. What a beauty!
@TROLLS ROYCE Thanks for your feedback. We are still working on fixing the polls

Hey @Jeppis, unfortunately that feature has been delayed, but we promise it's still in the works!

In my opinion, both R34 GTR and Polo were great!

Hachirockin AE86 or NISMO R34
Twin turbo V8 boxster
the drift works hachiroku 86
im a sucker for the DW86, I've been following that build for a while.
NISMO GTR.R34
Kei drift truck, that insane LS Lexus... And Tajima's Pike's peak car.
Kei drift truck, that insane LS Lexus... And Tajima's Pike's peak car.
How to choose, how to choose...
The Anglia is plain awesome for being a barn-built track race car complete with proper racing body, the 2JZ Plymouth for throwing in a Japanese powerplant into a rare car to make a statement and the DW86 for being radically different from all other drift-spec AE86s on the planet.
Close calls, but I'd vote for the Anglia's favour.
Got to be the Anglia, it puts a smile on my face every time it flicks past on my screensaver- so it was a very easy choice.
Also, may I just say, I'm looking forward to seeing a Hillman imp here on your hallowed pages
Ooooooo! Maybe even a Austin princess.....
Then again, maybe not!
I dig endurance GT capable machines. In reality I dig 24 hour race sims. The Jaguar did it 4 me, even though it's a proto-tribute, even though it's just a stunt. It surely starts with their ancestral dream relating to a vision. Dreaming of sculpting an original street machine capable of grand touring. Dreaming about that hybrid and its pilot, entering as a dark horse, or even an underrated pro-privateer team, out of the blue, jumping into the heat of Le Mans, or moreover the Green Hell. Car and driver both endures, eating the miles and clipping those seemingly never-ending corners, gambling with opportunity vs limits, hoping that the salvation of a pit stop, a driver change, a finish line, and moreover the ultimate prize, the category win, dawns upon them. These are the dreams legends are made of, and it's what i revere like a religion...
But then, it's just my own dream. Kudos to anyone that have the same dream...
the porsche

@TROLLS ROYCE I think this works better. Before we -had- to pick one. Just commenting allows us readers to pick more than one and maybe some more feedback too.
The vette, the Mantide, and the Jaguar prototype were all incredible... this has to be the toughest month to choose, but, the one of a kinds win. I'm going the Mantide for the win.
Lightspeed!!
Best shots ive seen in a while!
Killer Kei all the way!!!

Why, you may ask?
Just because.
Arguably the product of a sick mind for an audience with a humour.
My Favorite's the Lotus Exige.
The C2 Corvette.
DW86
MikeYee Why not both - votes plus comments to say which one(s) and why

I'm gonna give it to the pro touring Camaro.
I like the unobtainable Jaguar CX75. With only a handful in the world, think Mclaren F1 LM...
The Kei Drift Truck
V8 Hachirockin! Cool!!!!
Either V8 Hachirockin, Pro touring Camaro or the V8 Boxster. If you put a gun to my head..... Camero by a hair
http://www.speedhunters.com/2014/09/f-body-mash-cambird-z06/
DW86 and the pro-touring camaro
Im stuck on the Bertone Mantide but I have to go with the Golf Club Car.
Lotus Exige
Jag CX for me, the concept was insane, to actually see a running car is like finding a rare flower in the amazon that only opens once every 40 years.
Good lord, so much awesomeness in September
1. V8 Hachirockin'
2. A Golf Cup For The Street
3. The Raging Heavyweight
I don't think there was a single feature car in September I didn't enjoy though. (maybe the Mantide, not my cup of tea )
Corvette C2 & Vw Karmann Ghia v8 - they have some Spirit ......⛽⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡
The Raging Heavyweight is hard to beat
The Raging Heavyweight: A Pro-Touring Camaro
gotta be the...jaaaaaaaaaagggg!
Anglia or the Golf for me!
