It’s quite one thing to watch Formula One cars lap during practice. Sure, they’re still quicker than anything else on four wheels, but you always get the impression that there is so much more potential on tap. Even during the early stages of qualifying, it’s clearly a case of who blinks first. With the pace steadily increasing across the pack, it eventually climaxes as the last cars cross the finish line. Each car faster than the previous until one is left victorious. If you didn’t catch the qualifying session at Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps for this weekend’s race, check your listings and prepare yourself for a classic…
The GP today was so crap, I actually forgot who won the race. Also I think Geido Van der Garde should be on the pic instead of Hamilton.
Wow.. I just got trolled by SpeedHunters... very disappointed. This has never happened for any other grand prix whenever I visit this site.Your couple of sentences contradict the very post that you make. If I havent seen it and its a classic.. then It must be a nailbiter..why kill the mood revealing the driver in a picture.
I really hope Ferrari run an alternative strategy to make up for the bad quali. Hope it rains also!
Nice wallpaper Paddy, thanks ! Hoping for more from Spa !
Don't talk to me like im an idiot. I think you should leave the Formula 1 content to Charles Kha. I've been visiting this site for years now and a quick search revealed my suspicion, there has NEVER been a post so blatantly revealing the results to qualifying or a race so why would I actively avoid a website that has never been so dumb. Seriously, its common sense/ courtsey. Quit being so damn smug. Your a contributor to this site telling one of your supporters he's dumb and to stay off of your website, sweet dude. Just change the picture.
Come on Paddy! Where was the SPOILER ALERT!?!? Its been 3 weeks off and you just spoiled what I was expecting to be the most exciting qualifying on the calender. PLEASE change the picture to something more ubiquitous and write spoiler alert in the title. Love and appreciated everything you guys do on here but im genuinely dissapointed.
@roblo97 Great call by his engineers and the Marussia guys, certainly caught a lot of others off guard!
It's like watching German highlights of the DTM
-This guy won, now you can sit and watch it knowing the outcome.
@anowicki44 I'm sorry if I came across as being a bit short previously, long days and no sleep tend to put a blunt edge on things. I also never said nor implied that you were an 'idiot' or 'dumb'.
Charles hasn't worked for Speedhunters for quite some time, and previously supplied our only F1 single event coverage. The editorial rules & processes in place have changed quite a lot since then and we work with an increased sense of urgency when we cover major events. I apologise if this has damaged your enjoyment of the event, but we did leave the story for several hours after qualification concluded to allow for this, and I also never specifically mentioned names in case it popped up in somebody's RSS or Twitter feed.
Regardless, it was a fantastic session and I'm sure that any fan will watch it and re-watch it time and time again.
@anowicki44 When you don't want to know the outcome don't go on Twitter, Facebook or on any internet sites where they might possibly put an article online about any racing you want to see. It's not that hard...
@anowicki44 I'd recommend staying off the internet if you want to avoid knowing any sort of motorsport results. I'd even more so advise staying away from websites to dedicated to cars & car culture...
@ITRbroham It's going to be an exciting battle, will the Mercedes be able to maintain the pace if it stays dry? Red Bull have been very strong all weekend...
I implied that if you don't want to know race results, I would recommend you avoid websites dedicated to automotive culture until you're caught up on events. Apologies if it was mis-interpreted.
