Without a doubt one of the most exciting race cars to debut in the last year has been the Continental GT3 from Bentley. The car will be making its on-track debut at Goodwood this weekend, and as part of the occasion Bentley has released this video clip showing the car in action. Even though it’s being driven lightly in a lot of this video, you can still sense just how cool this thing. The 600 horsepower twin turbo V8 makes some beautiful music and the car looks flat-out amazing. The Continental GT3 is scheduled to enter the FIA Blancpain Series in 2014.

The sound .. holy! If the SLS GT3s are star destroyers this is the death star itself.

This is gonna be interesting. Car looks solid, has a good powerplant, and awesome lines.

But gotta see in action first though.

I thought they had V10's? Is it a different engine for GT3?

This thing is as heavy as planet Jupiter. Let's see how it will go against the R8, the Z4 and all the lightweight competition. Although i might be proven wrong because i thought the same about the SLS.....

When watching this video, put this song in background, starting at 1 min. ;)

@R3d Baron For a second I didn't see the "pretty" part of your comment - I was gonna say haha.

@RalphScarabaggio the Continental GT is being offered with the twinturbo W12 (heavy lump of an engine) and the twinturbo V8 they used here.

Yeah there was a ton of weight shaving, but I'm not exactly sure how it will tip the scales compared to its competitors.

Keep in mind the lack of any technical regulations (Appendix J) means the Balance of Performance will take care of the weight issue with additional horsepower, aero, etc. Ultimately, the weight and dimensions will not adversely affect performance. The Bentley will, certainly, take over from the Nissan as the Most Hugest GT3 in the paddock.

Got a point. You could make nearly any car "look" awesome with this song...Still this video doesn't need an extra soundtrack.
