I don't understand how the 20B swapped RE Europa has less than 6% !

Napier-Railton V Acura!!! Ha! An elephant to swot a fly...

Napier Railton. Way more mental than all the other cars combined, almost a century ago. Nothing can beat the thing. Nothing.

Harry Q Allstar 9 pts

What he said. A beauty to behold...

The 4 rotor GS300 is f%#king BOSS.

FC3S Touge Special was my favorite.  The combination of the story and the awesomeness of the car! Its the total package.

Did people forget what the word rice meant? cut spring civics with ridiculous body kits, giant wings, fart cans, fake steelie wheel covers and nothing done to the engine are ricy. An s chassis with a vr38 is not rice. At all.

Jdmcolliemane 20 pts

 zamm333

Ricer has turned from civics with really loud and obnoxious tailpipes and euro lights to anything thats japanese....its sad but most other car fans, like muscle car guys imparticular, think of it that way. (No offense to honda owners with euro lights reading this lol)

Jdmcolliemane  zamm333 rice is a term for all japanese cars before enthusiast sites like speedhunters even existed, before many of the people on this site could even drive. I don't think the 380sx is rice at all though. Good motor, generally a good chassis, even a good idea on what they hope to accomplish. The execution behind that idea is lacking, and sites wish to hype it up because of the name behind it it seems.

This site especially has given me a new appreciation for different styles of development. It's your car, do what you want with it and don't let anyone's opinion change that. Unless they're footing the bill it doesn't matter what they think, make it unique! That being said I don't believe the 380sx belongs on the list solely for the fact that the project seems to be unfinished, have a lot of interest in seeing the final result. The GS is just insane, had a lot of trouble between that and the 5.0 but that deep blue is almost mesmerizing.

DomoKun 21 pts

What a hard choice but I voted the 380sx just because a certain troll below keeps talking shit about it.

BenjaminSaucier 24 pts

Although there are some great cars there were shown here, I have to admit the GS stole the show. I still don't see the 380sx living up to the hype speedhunters gave it.

JDMized 179 pts

@BenjaminSaucier Well said Mr. The GS built is very unique and well executed. The 380SX is a VR38DETT swap into a 180SX with a Rocket Bunny kit, not a bad car, but the work up into the GS is just mind blowing!

000guto1 9 pts

i really liked the Retro 86 , TRD does a real good job on this car , and this wheels , i need four of these for my Renault/Dacia Logan!

FrancescoDiGiuseppe 42 pts

I have to go with RE Amemiya.Unique, classic and innovative.

bigmac69 21 pts

god i went for the 4 rotor gs i wish i could have voted for the notchback aswell. had a feeling the 380sx would win that car is amazing but so pointless and for what he wants to do with it and where he wants to do it just ridiculous.

InnerToxicity 27 pts

@bigmac69 I voted for the quad-rotor too, I have an almost complete aversion to those big Japanese luxobarges but that one is just so different and incredibly cool. I recon it'll sound pretty awesome too =D

clowbe 5 pts

InnerToxicity  bigmac69 Voted for it too..Good to see kiwis fly. Heres  video of the 26b http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=ypCxOBCa3x8

JDMized 179 pts

@bigmac69 I think you made the right decision! The GS is far more customed than a VR38 swap. But cars are good, but the GS 4 rotors? C'mon!

what happened to the volvo "strip club" wagon??

izzy_ortiz 12 pts

Why are you guys giving me stress over this poll?  lol  The GS won my coin toss

I had to vote for that Fox Mustang, so over the top.  But the 4 rotor GS300 was SO close.  I swear this poll gets harder every month.

Bensopra 380 is too hyped up, doesn't do anything for me. Doesn't seem like a serious attempt at a high speed record, just a bunch of friends tinkering around with a fun project. Respectable in that sense, but laughable in the former sense.

Voted the RE-A Europa because it opened up a newfound interest and appreciation of the Europa platform

777 87 pts

Chris Nuggets well unfortunately we won't be able to see it fall well short of its goal as it didn't make the boat to nardo, but yes, in comparison to other cars on the list it's a bit underdone

Chris Nuggets 58 pts

777 That's disappointing to hear, even though I felt they would fall well short as well. I'm sure they put a lot of work into rushing it to be ready, but maybe this will give them time to regroup and properly finish the car. And hopefully reassess their ultimate goals...this could be a savage drift car, time attack car, or amazing TSA show car for next year. I just don't see high speed records in it's future based on it's initial approach.

JDMized 179 pts

Chris Nuggets  Well said. I think this car belongs in the drifting community. Seeing all these new TA race cars and their crazy aero. People in the TA community have been doing lots of homework about aero, and this 380SX doesn't stand a chance (at least not the way it looked at TAS).

Olaf16 18 pts

Voted ofc for the 380 from bensopra :)

hergaderpa 10 pts

Please stop sullying the Napier-Railton with "steampunk."

Harry Q Allstar 9 pts

hergaderpa Agreed. Nothing steam or punk about it...

Gaben 5 pts

The Bensopra 380sx and the RE-Amemiya Lotus Europa its a beautiful JDM ART. Wonderful projects!! But my vote is a Zakspeed Capri. This is awsome unlimited race car from the golden era. Check the on board videos.;) The Porsche 962CK6 its not play this leauge. This is upper level car.

Hanma 53 pts

By far that GS300 is the most rad build on this list. The ones I'd want to own would either be the 5.0 or the FC though. Lot's of good cars this month.

JSequoia 23 pts

had to go with Liam's rallycross beast -- just because jonathan did so much research on that thing and gave me more than a few damn good ideas

staryjaponiec 19 pts

Among these projects, I had the biggest jaw drop when I saw and heard 4-rotor wankel in Lexus GS. Voted!

bluebomber 5 pts

 staryjaponiec

Had to throw a like for the Dr. Wankel name drop.

stikitnowcom 37 pts

many rotaries this month, hard to choose. Even the mustang is a contender...

FrodeOlsen 17 pts

Hard one this time, but i had to go for the Napier-Railton, pioneering this shit!

CarpeDeez 10 pts

damn, the 5.0, the benspora even though its a bit ricy, and that badass gs300. Voted gs300 for 1000hp 4 rotor turbo monster

bluebomber 5 pts

I cannot get over that 5.0, I fully expect to never see a better version of that body style for the rest of my life. Gorgeous.
