With the increase in popularity of #IAMTHESPEEDHUNTER, I thought it might be interesting to mix things up a little bit. Before I go any further, I want to emphasise that this isn’t a competition. Rather, this is about something we can never have too much of in our lives – fun. Let’s try and make this a weekly thing that not only inspires us all to get out and take photographs, but something we can all talk about afterwards.

For the first few themes, I’m going to try and keep things simple but interesting. You don’t need to have thousands of dollars / euros / pounds /  (insert applicable currency here) worth of equipment to take part, just a keen eye and the ability to think creatively. Since this is Speedhunters, the subject of your photograph should be based around the vast world of automotive.

The first theme is Colour.

Okay it’s a little clichéd but it’s actually a little bit more difficult than you think and each theme is completely open to interpretation.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them below. If you’re submitting to the theme, please ensure that you include ‘Theme’ in the subject line of the submitted e-mail, or the hashtag #IATSTHEME on Instagram, Twitter etc. Depending on how popular this proves, it might be run as a weekly, bi-weekly or monthly theme. I’ll also be listening to suggestions below for future themes …
