Those complaining about the price - American Apparel hoodies are the same price blank with out the screen print ( logos ) from the store. American Apparel makes a high quality product. Well worth the price or maybe i am just madly in love with SPEEDHUNTERS :)

benpopham cool glad you like the goods. We've put a lot of effort in getting the details right on the designs, from the packaging to the extra prints inside the shirts, the custom labels, on the actual hood of the hoodie or on the backside of the keyring etc.

Love the merchandise. The prices might seem a little too much at first but they are American appeal so they are worth it. But for me, as a daily Speedhunters reader and huge fan from its birth since 2008 who has read almost every article what has been published(only have missed those posts which were published during vacation trips and hospital stays) I found it sad that you have put the Speedhunters sticker on sale for everyone. I do understand that the demand for the SH sticker has been huge but for me that has been the appeal to the SH sticker that it is a rare thing to have. Before owning the Speedhunter sticker meant that you have met a SH in person or you were the honored with it to your car which was SH approved and that it meant it was special and a rarity. But now you have put it to sale and have destroyed the legacy and myth the Speedhunters had made around the SH sticker. Now everyone can stick it on their random car and it wont have the appeal that it used to have. I know it shows that they are supporting the SH crew, website and now the brand but also it degrades the whole meaning of the SH sticker what had been made the last 4 years! Anywho, just odered the hoodie and still dying over the book - I want it. Much love SH!
Kermo I chose not to buy a sticker for exactly this reason. I'll wait until I 'earn' one by catching up with the Speedhunters staff at an event.
Kermo Hi Kermo. You'll be happy to know that we will always have "special" goodies which you can only get at events from the Speedhunters team. We have just produced some special high end Logo stickers which we will be arming the crew with shortly.

Thats cool but still gonna miss the old one, they wont have the same appeal to me as they have not been around for 4 years. Maybe we can get to see the new "special" goodies, so we can know which are the unique and rare ones now?
Also about the e-store, I have a suggestion. In the Euro zone the prices should be in euros(€) not in british pounds(£). You should know Rod that the main currency in Europe is the euro! I odered the SH hoodie watching:" 50£ for a hoodie? Aint that bad!" But after getting the bill in euros, I was like:"What the..... 83€ for a hoodie? They really should have the original prices in euros, so it wont fool us what the real price is!" Please at least make it an option to change the currency before making the oder!
Deffo getting the book, thats without question, but even with as much as I love Speedhunters, $6.50 a sticker and $65 a hoodie are.......hard to swallow. Especially knowing the cost of garment production (SH cost is around $18 MAX per hoodie with nice embellishments). Makes me value my current stickers I got the hard way even more :)
Seriously, you guys are pushing the upper end of the limit as to what your audience will pay and I think it's unfair. $5 a sticker and $50 a hoodie, $20 a T-shirt would have been better price points, but I'm sure the bean counters didn't feel that way.
As far as the site direction, I know EA owns Speedhunters, but I guess congratulations on getting out from under the video games and into a space of your own. I wonder if Shift 2 (and its success/failure) had anything to do with why you are distancing yourselves from EA now....seems like thats where many of us found Speedhunters in the beginning!
I just bought a keychain logo :) gonna hang it from my rear view mirror (my insurance penalises me if i put a sticker on my car).
£5 may be expensive for a sticker - i wouldn't know, i'm 38 - but i figured buying something is the least i could do after all the free entertainment you guys have provided. Thanks!

i don't know how it works for others but in Australia the US prices work out to be way cheaper than the EU ones.
Even for a small print run of these items, the pricing seems outrageous. I really hope you guys find a way bring your prices down in the future.
When will there be a new batch? And will there be regular new batches?
aRmanddd We are planning to release new designs and new products each quarter. The Volume One book is coming in around 2 weeks with Collection02 being released at the end of November or so.

GREAT STUFF guys. Here is my take on it. I have read all of the reviews. I have never paid 6.5 for a stickers nor 65 for a hoodie or anything for that matter. That being said the only sole reason why i brought the sticker and hoodie is to support all the media story productions. Keep it up. I might even get the shirts.

Just gotta say, prices are fine the way they are. I have to disagree with the people who say it's too expensive for the demographic. I'd say it's about right for quality merchandise.
