I’m going to be honest here, for a long time I wasn’t a big fan of the coupe body style of the Ford Mustang. Many people must agree, because when all else is equal a fastback Mustang seems to have a value two or three times greater than that of its coupe counterpart.
Recently though I’ve taken quite a liking to Mustang coupes, particularity the ’67 and ’68 models.
I know we don’t post a whole lot of NASCAR material here, but I wanted to share this quick clip from last Friday night’s Nationwide Series race in Richmond.
As typical with Richmond, the race brought lots of action and lots of close racing. Here you’ll see Denny Hamlin and Kurt Bush fighting it out in the final laps of the race, banging together and driving with the kind of excitement that can make NASCAR so fun to watch.
Needless to say, Cobra-lovers had plenty to enjoy during the recent Shelby Reunion event at the NHRA Museum. From historic race cars, to painstakingly restored street models, the spread of Cobra history on hand was incredible. It was hard to pick favorites out of the bunch, but to me there was something great about this British Racing Green example.
