Our friends at WORLD Racing recently released this video of the last Global Time Attack event of 2011. Held at Sonoma, Chris Rado pushed the Team Need for Speed Scion tC2 to 1:45.320; a time good enough to set a new FWD track record.

What's the whole point with making a FWD car so powerful? Weight reduction?

Is it me, or is that kind of car so easy to drive, you can almost fall asleep?

easy to drive? LOL! FWD cars are arguably the hardest cars to drive (fast) on a road course. trying to control 1,000+hp to the front wheels is unlike anything else in motorsports. Call it what you will but FWD is here to stay and WORLD Racing are definitely the KINGS.
