World Time Attack Challenge saw some of the greatest time attack machines arrive on Australian shores to do battle. And next year's event – which will take place at Eastern Creek on 10-11th August – promises to be just as enticing. Work has already begun on WTAC 2012, with the organisers flying to Japan to open discussions with the various teams. Question is, who would you like to see at next year's event?

Generally a more polished event...
2 main things i would like to see is:
-Televised action-Screens that allow viewers to watch the laps from the whole track, rather than when they just drive past.
-HItouts between the best cars... The leading cars, (2011 Sierra Sierra and the Cyber Evo) in the same class, battling it out, hit for hit, lap for lap...
Bring back the Tome/Cusco STI! =]...It definitely has a lot more potential

I would like to see:
-Including the given contender, UW, at LEAST the same 4 teams from Japan.
-SSE running high boost w/ all the other components ready for Christine's fury at full boost. Less cake?
-FXMD's nsx would be nice finally, and I wish Andrew B's fwd DSM could make it.
-GST's ChopTop would be nice to see considering how many no shows/bill floats (and trash talk) they made.
-Either Rado F'wing car
-SOME top tier UKta cars!! (RCd, ZenP, ND's swb v.2 evo9, RCM's Gobstopper)

World Time Attack needs to be a global series and have multiple stops. Need to somehow get more cars from each region attending each stop in a series of events that ends in Australia.
In addition, they need a true live feed and quality replay's for various timezones. Time Attack needs to be brought to a larger stage and the only way will be by improving the ability to watch it.

I want to see Nick Chesters near 1000hp carbon clad commadore ubercar run. It can lap pukekoe faster than a v8 supercar. should be able to put in a good low 30 lap at eastern creek.
They need a run what you brung class for all the nuts who like to build there own monsters. Not everone want to through the bank at a street car if you can call the top class street cars anymore. they are as piurpose build as any race car.
I want to see a holden and ford v8 super car do a super lap... then watch all the other entrants crush them to dust! xD

If you go for 2012, grab an ipod and play it all day long, just pause for the 10 seconds when a car is about to pass in the Pro Class

M-Speed R34 GT-R, Exceed Moat S14, Esprit Twin Turbo NSX, Revolution FD3S, Scorch Racing S15, Mines R34 GT-R, Sierra Sierra EVO, Pit Road M GTO, MCR R34 GT-R.. HKS and Cyber EVO's come out of retirement and going at it would be nice.
I agree Anthony , this event is hyped up for no reason ,If you wanna make the event good make sure it stops on every continent ( country's that are leading the sport) . Its good that events like this exist but they need to have a coverage over the net , same thing GTA is working so hard on . Its WTAC and GTA that can make the big show down happen , where cars from each corner of the world will attend , thats the only way to find out who is the fastest in the world and only way to make this sport live on.

I agree Ian , All those moaning ***ts who want more action might need to learn more about what goes into making these cars go fast or find and different meeting to go to, then whine about.
Any decent UK cars wont bother going as they have a championhship to consider and not just a one-off event on the other side of the world with no real meaning, remember the guys in uk generally operate a business so to take all that time out would be a waste and commerically not sensible, there might be a second rate car from europe go but it wont be representative of the scene but if one does I suppose it will be over hyped.
As the other guy said make it a tour instead of a one-off over hyped event as lets face it whats happening there over the last 2 years is the same old same old which has already been done more than once in the USA long before WTAC simply repeated it, a glitzy name dont constitute a glitzy event so until some kinda tour happens this is simply lame Im afraid..............peace

Im so sad they shut down their opperation! I really wanted to see them lighten up Christine, put her on a diet, and get some tires equal to Cybers cheater non production tires. They would SMASH the Cyber Evo! people got big shoes to fill! I really hope Sierra Sierra comes back, at least as another company so they can continue!
@TA luva - And how many of the teams that were there last year were pro's that had a mega sponser paid for everything, Im pretty sure that most did it off there own back, put there cars on boats,took time off work ,funded it out of their own pocket and turned up. They did this so they had a shot at winning , if you cant or dont wont to do that ,dont maon about and try and de-value the WTAC as an event just because you think it is too far away. It Is moaning A**hole's like you that uphold the sterotype of the whinging pommie C**T.
lol @ Anthony & Ivan ... neither of you conveyed any rational thought based on previous TA knowledge or research. Just firing from your TA-ignorant hip. There is so much more to do then sit with your Ipod (you are the worst TA "fan" ever, or more like not a TA fan) , and it makes little to no sense for there to be more than one WTAC event per year; for a few different reasons. WTAC can do EXACTLY what have been doing and I will be on the edge of my seat for 2012. If it ain't broke...
Some people have no understanding of just how much knowledge, time, and effort it takes to effectively run some of these top tier TA cars (and MONEY). I live in the middle of nowhere on the NW tip of Washington State; no US based TA team is near me, and no US based TA series comes near me at this point, let alone global TA events, and I am 100% fine with that. I got home from a 3 day work trip the last night of WTAC 10' and stayed up all night watching the live timing updates till the event ended... no ipod needed even there.
Nobody has combined any TA event of this scale with such a large global invite... this is not a repeated adventure; unless you do not distinguish between TA events in any form, lol, which makes no sense.
Proportionally, I would bet there are just as many Japanese, Aus, and US based companies running "real businesses" on top of running their TA team as there are in the UK. I hope many entries come from the UK, I have been following UKta for along time, and wish they would mingle. If the UK can bring something competitive, they will. (you UKta'ers need to remember, TA is not an awd-power slide contest)

@2jrolla, its the opposite side of the world for the uk TA guys, its not that straightforward as it is for the USA and Japanese guys to make the trip and lets face it not many really turned up did they!!! To put on an event with the name 'World' without ensuring the content is going to be there is simply not cricket old boy, you cant just invite people expecting them to come simply becuase of a name and when they dont just continue with it surely.
I dont believe the uk guys need to do a round the world trip to show how good they are especially when there is probably not going to be any worthwhile challengers.

But if they want to stay in their sand pit and play with their little circle of friends ,dont throw the toys out when the other people decide to play together. People from this end of the world have been doing the that round the world trip for decades.So it aint nothing new. Were there is a will there is a way . I guess there aint much will up there.
