Speedhunter Melinda Neil discovered that New York based artist Jonathan Brand is undertaking an amazing project: he is recreating a life-sized 1969 Ford Mustang. Out of paper. Using archival inket print outs, Brand has been slowly constructing this 1:1 scale Mustang piece by piece. Everything, from the water pump to the tyre tread to the spark plugs, has been meticulously made out of paper.
Previously Brand spent five years restoring an (actual) Mustang with his father, however he eventually sold it to buy an engagement ring for his fiancee. Be sure to check out his site for more of this amazing paper craft build!
