A while back we saw actor, Patrick "McDreamy" Dempsey, take it easy around the Le Mans race track in the new restored Mazda 787b. But on race day of this year's 24 Hours of Le Mans, Johnny Herbert returned, once again, to give the full beans to his Le Mans winning car for the first time since that historic day in 1991.
Turn up the volume, sit back, and enjoy the glorious sound of the 26B as it thunders down the Mulsanne Straight.

I love how the engine revs so high that it runs out of audible octaves to spew out it's exhaust pipe and ends up adding a lower octave to compensate.
It just keeps accelerating! That engine sound is music, and the shift points are so tight!! I can't say enough, wow.

Watched this video before I went out for a drive in the AE86 last night. Really got me pumped up. Was rev matching downshifts just like Johnny Herbert in the 787b. Great onboard video.
Simply hearing the Mazda 787 is harmony in itself. Seeing it on track at full throttle is like watching a beautiful sunset. Amazing!
