First practice session at Formula D Florida will go underway in just a few hours time. It's a clean slate for everyone that is involved; the drivers, the teams, the media, and, of course, the spectators. Just as we start ramping up our coverage this weekend, the guys at Falken Tire released their Long Beach film. They took a much more documentary approach and it is quite refreshing because of that.
Now if you'll excuse me, a bit of sleep is needed before my pre-dawn flight to Florida.

I think they should ban V8's out of drifting... It takes away the spirit of the Japanese scene where it all started. in the end, everybody in the US is swapping a V8 in whatever car they are driving.
Probably I'm going to get flamed by the US guys bigtime, but true fans of original Japanese cars drifting their asses off will know what I mean... 4 cilinder NA AE86's, rotary FC's and FD's, S13-14-15 turbo 4 cilinders...inline 6's NA or turbo...but no V8 untill drifting got caught up in the US
