Random Snap>>super Gt Vette

There have been a handful of Corvettes that have competed in Japan's Super GT series over the years, with the most recent being the RUNUP Sports C6 running in this year's GT300 class. Among the drivers for this entry is a certain Kazuyoshi Okamura of Yashio Factory fame.

It's always cool to see the Japanese take on the American icon, especially in full race trim.

Why do I remember Oka-chan slamming american cars during a few Best Motoring and Hot Version segments?

Oh the irony.

the best thing about this vette is its an fia gt3 version, so it might actually be competitive in its class.

Can you say, meaty NSX?

Gorgeous. Love 'em or hate 'em, vettes are bad-ass race cars.

A cool one indeed, but none of them made it in the Round 3 at Sepang recently.. ;(

This post was very nice to read. And it really covers what blogs lack, comparing to automotive magazines and those are tech articles on installs and whatnot. Wish I could read more of these things cause I miss em.

Although putting the Corvette is a good thing, I'm thinking that the GT300 class is turning into another FIA GT3 class. I just hope that the Mosler, Shiden, Garaiya, and the Vemac could stay on their respective class.
