I remember my Hart sinking seeing Dider roll to a halt in the tunnel...Gilles win in '81 was just as amazing as the '82 race...Driving the Ferrari 126 turbo "TRUCK" a car which had no handling abillty at all but all the power in the world

That was crazy. Monaco is such a stupid place to race but it's always interesting.
Every time I see those 80's cars I'm stunned by how exposed the drivers were. And how about those marshals pushing the Ferrari across the tunnel! I can only hope they had the all-clear from other people with a view of the tunnel entry.
