Along with the winter speedhunting photos that a few readers sent in, Åsmund Hope, sent this video of a winter track day on a frozen lake in Norway. Åsmund mentioned that these trackdays are quite common in the colder parts of Scandinavia during the winter. What I find most interesting about this video is the variety of cars that are participating in the wintery hoonfest.
No wonder Fredric Aasbo became so good at the art of hooning….

Wow this is very cool! Wish we could do this in SoCal...
Btw what's the name of the song that starts playing at 3:44?
Something for Formula D next winter maybe?
In canada, we got that too... just that the backround''s full of igloos ;D
Audis own that track. Haha.
Quattro FTW
Some really cool cars in this video. GT3RS, M5, Evo 6.5. The Tesla is a real surprise! I wonder how long the battery lasts in the freezing temperature, and if the drivers were allowed to use studded tires.
Cool beans!
I love the Impreza GT
i wanna buy the 1997 one. The 2.0T

This would be such a hit here in Canada. Love the variety of cars too.

I wish i had that in socal so i could shred it up in my 1991 jeep cherokee 4x4
Shut that stupid music up, can´t you just let the engines roar?
And I really don´t understand those many slow-mo´s also, isn´t it cooler to watch cars go fast, rather than slow?
