Random Snap>> Slammed Nissan Juke

Just spotted this shot of a slammed Nissan Juke over on the High Performance Imports blog. Not sure what to make of this, it does look very cool but it also looks like a bit of a Photoshop job as the car seems to be on Nissan dealership display plates parked at a dealer. Still, with the 190 HP 1.6 L turbo version due to come out by the end of the year in Japan, this could be one JDM ride that might be getting more and more attention in the aftermarket. I drove the Juke a few months back and aside from its headache-inducing CVT transmission, I quite liked it. Nissan can only be commended in my opinion for having the courage to come out with something different.

Photo shopped or not it does look pretty cool.......don't know about the green wheels though

2

shit...thats actually pretty dope.

4

190hp on a 1.6? Herro prease

5

Yep, Nissan definitely deserves props for doing something different.

If we're lucky, other automakers will follow their lead.

6

it looks like a similing bullfrog... which isnt a good thing

8

too bad only the fwd version will be manual....

9

Adam Hubers nailed it!

Photoshop job for sure!

Still looks decent tho.

+ the number plate is a shitty photoshop job as you can see the crappy paint scribble and "JUKE" text / font looks too fake.

10

Car would look good without the set on headlights on the hood.

Also if you look at the yellow pole in the background. Its been cut sliced towards the bottom.

11

Photoshop or not, that car is still uglier than a red haired firstborn...

12

love it with those wheels

13

All it needs now is a headlight cover (or delete) and make the fog the main beam.

14

That is really cool actually, even with the green wheels

15

yeah i think its photoshopped, look at the yellow pole on the left

16

Needs a "fender headlight" delete option

17

Yeah the yellow pole in the background looks abit off?

18

lol, I know the guy who made this shop. It was an request on this site.

@nismo omori factory plate is original. http://www.jdmsociety.nl/viewtopic.php?f=18&t=39

19

^^ good find!

20

it is photoshopped...look at the yellow post on the far left..it's cut in two. Coming from someone who photoshops all day.

21

It's still doofy as hell.

22

recognized those wheels off that Black 350z very quickly and knew it was photoshopped. Cool idea though.

23

..... Speedhunters is a bit behind the 8Ball on this entry ......

24

love the look of this.. so even if it is a p'chop the idea is cool looking - i'm sure it could work!! nice

25

The more I look at it the more I like it.

26

me likey! photoshop or not, it's unique

28

I kinda hate it, but kinda like it... I dont know :|

29

yellow pole on the left is the biggest giveaway

30

Glad people liked our photoshop project.

Only I find it a bit sad they needed to cut out our watermark. :(

We don't mind other people using our own stuff but atleast give the maker some credit.

31

looks really cool.

lol all the americans are surprised about 190hp out of a 1.6..

32

for the love of god Nissan, just get rid of the headlights on the fenders, they look like an afterthought, and they ruin the whole design. If you ditch them, it would be pure awesome.

33

really really unique!!! Love it!

34

hey thats my photoshop xD

i made a little update without those lights on the hood

i think it looks kinda plain now, but it would probably sell better haha

but here ya go:

35

I like it.

I would enjoy seeing this on the road in the states, but it would never fly here.

To many people wouldn't get it.

36

If it really can be lowered that far, that car changes from the most useless piece of sht i've ever seen into a car full of potential :P

37

This should be called the Nissan Puke

38

I hate the Juke, no matter what modifications people will come up with. The current Nissan designers screwed up the whole line-up.

39

The 190 HP/140 kW 1.6 L turbo intercooler version [1,6 DIG-T] is already on sale in Finland (Europe).

You can choose it as FWD or 4x4. The FWD has 6-speed manual and the 4x4 is M-CVT-transmission.

40

....No...i don't like the looks of that.

41

This car would look great with some slight fabrication. I love this shop (I'm positive it's a shop). I'd go Vee Dub on this and remove the headlights and fabricat the hood and the fenders so the headlights (on the hood?) look like they were never there. The foglights look fine as headlights.

42

@ClassiszMS: look a few posts above you, i also made a shop without those headlights ;)

43

I agree. the new cvt technology takes away that automatic shift jerk we all dread. keep up the good work nissan!

44

whats wrong with you guys? this ugly ass retard car doesnt meet speedhunters standards. imagine the kind of people who actually buy it!

45

@Bram. Oh wow, I feel dumb. :P That updated photoshop looks great.

46

Dopegarage -"The new cvt technology takes away that automatic shift jerk we all dread. keep up the good work nissan!"

The best way to get rid of that "dreaded automatic shift jerk" is to drive a manual. ;-)

47

ha this thing looks mint....!

(get the rubbish joke? O_o)!
