Last year in New Jersey, Falken Tire swept the podium for the first time ever at a Formula Drift event. Tonight in Vegas, the teal and blue repeated that feat – lead by Tyler McQuarrie in his drop top Z. Tyler took the win on a hot night in Vegas while Dai Yoshihara and Vaughn Gittin Jr. took second and third respectively, with the battle for the championship getting hotter by the minute.
We've got plenty of coverage on the way, but for now big congrats go to Tyler, Dai, Vaughn and everyone at Team Falken.

Formula drift is just nascar now except with slip angle and japanese cars with american v8 engines
man, the drift scene is still using street chassis', ya the v8's make it a little easier, but it still takes more skill than HP. Take any of the guys rocking V8's to the podium, give them 300hp and I'm sure they would still be killing it.

FD needs a street legal class like D1. so it gets rid of a the crazy motor swaps and what not. the car has to have the factory motor and what not in it.

Who got stuck in that b/s traffic Sunday night heading from Vegas to LA?!?!?! i wanted to kill myself....i know some of the drivers got stuck in that crap...i ran into Matt Powers trailer and the Megan Racing truck too.
