I have seen my fare share of strange drift cars but I never saw this combination. A Mercedes W123 doing its thing in I guess Norway or Sweden ? Could it even be a diesel looking at the black smoke coming from the rear ?

Epic win. I've always thought the W123 wagon was M-B's best all-around, most practical car ever (and I used to work at an M-B dealership). Seeing one drifting with the diesel fumes pouring out the back is just epic coolness for me.

Actually it´s from Finland and it is a diesel.
Its the Black Smoke Racing Mercedes and they are actually based in finland. I have seen them with my own eyes drifting in Estonia and the black smoke thats coming out of this thing is just amazing

It's Finnish. Saw this car in Estonia and it rocked. By the way, there are some cool driftcars in Estonia too, e.g. BMW 2002 and a mid-engined turbocharged Audi Coupe(typ 81)

I met him at a car show in Finland last year... He was there excibiting his previous Merc, wich was literally BENT from a serious crash - and he was driving it to the show!

Here in the philippines a team here drifts a Mazda BT50 pick up truck. and its a diesel too. it's kinda strange and kinda cool at the same time.

Wou. nice, that so many are impressed of my car! I won the x-treme drift challenge last year with 190d with 3.0 12v turbodiesel 415hp and 704nm. Now im driving with that wagon, it has maybe 400-500hp and 800nm. im using tremec tko600. front and rear axles are from aristo. engine is from -98 e model mercedes 3.0 24v and garrett gt40 turbo.

i have always loved these benz diesel wagons. My Dad's friend had one for like 20 years and he worked for mercedes. He had a bunch of cars but he liked the wagon the best for some reason..more than his SL!!!! The last time i saw it, it had 650K+ on it and it was sitting on AMG wheel from the 560 SEC!!!
Love the W123 wagon. I also drive one, but not as sweet as the one above. I get skid pad time with it and get attention. You typically dont see old Benzos drifting, even on a wet skid pad.
