Finetuning my fuel and ignition maps, after I welded my chasis today.
Went on a quick Autobahn testrun yesterday but didn't want to push beyond 220 km/h, because the maps weren't perfect.
Didn't want to wreck the Engine on the first day I got it to run.
Stayed up til 3 last night playing GRiD on PS3

Speeding isn't bad, its only dangerous if you don't have your wits about you, and an eagle hawk eye for speed cameras and traffic police often helps

Well it might be a bit late but thats because i spent the weekend in outback Australia watching arguably one of the toughest desert races in the world. The Finke Desert Race. While I usually compete on a bike, this year was a chance for me to camp out and watch the event for a change.
The event goes for three days with a 8.3km prologue on saturday to determin starting order and two days of racing the 230km track each way on sunday and monday.
Bike and buggies compete separately but overall times between the two classes are always a talking point. Some of the machinery on display at scrutineering on friday night is unreal, with everything from 4AG's, LS2''s and C30A's driving the 100 or so buggies and trucks.
While the numbers were reasonable for the cars this year there were alot of DNF's but some close racing as well.
Cant wait to go back next year.
