Random Snap>> Itcc Premieres

The first ever round of the Irish Touring Car Championship took place this weekend at Mondello Park, Ireland. The series' rules are quite open, any road based saloon or hatchback may enter as long as the engine is up front. The starting grid for the first race included a plethora of Honda Type R's, a Sierra Cosworth, BMW Mini, Opel Astra, Mazda RX7 and a host of other cars. We'll have full event coverage of this during the week but for now, this shot of Barry Rabbit in the Tuning Factory CRX cruising to pole position during qualifying will have to suffice.

Big thanks to Anthony Levingston of D4D Photos for the image.

@wilson, yes J's Racing sold the CR-X to their Irish distributor, Tuning Factory, a couple of years ago. Since then it has been used in Irish Time Attack and racing events.
