Im happy to see a video posted of this. I was stuck out of town and had to listen to RadioLeMans.com when this was going on, nice to finally put video to audio.

Doesnt this sound a million times better with John Hindhaugh doing the commentary instead of the Speed crew in the US?

Man to be Burgmeister in the flying lizard 911, and seeing the 2 vettes in my rearview must be scary. There is no love lost there after the finish at Seca last year. It almost appears that they are trying to show up in his rearview as much as possible.

On a side note that M3 right behind them started in pit lane and had already got up in 30 minutes... WOW!

Awesome race beginning. Those Pugeuts are unreal fast....and DIESEL. That move diving to the inside of the GT cars was white-knuckle, the imprints are still in the side of my recliner at home!

I feel bad for Magnussen. To quote him to the crew on the pit-lane accident with his teammate: This is the single stupidest thing I have ever been party to in my racing career."

Magnussen's pit guy OK'ed him to leave his pit, not seeing the next vette screaming down pit lane, and as Mag pulled out, teammate hit right behind Mag's front L wheel. Caved in the side and punctured the tire, making Mag go 3.2 miles on a flat, 1 hour into the race. And you KNOW he wanted to be riding Bergmeister the entire race after Seca. But hey...that's endurance racing for you, when those pits need to be on form like the driver and car. What a shame.

The emotions on the Corvette Racing team must be insane considering this was their time to get back at the Flying Lizard Porsche team and they lost that chance by shooting themselves in the foot. Still, I'm glad there's more Ferraris now that Patron switched from Porsche, and also thrilled the BMWs are killing it. The majority of the race, those two must have looked like the twins from the Shining in the Ferrari's mirror! No surprise Peugeot won over all, but at least Aston Martin got 3rd. Speaking of, where's Acura this season? Oh well, looking forward to seeing them in person!
