I think I speak for the majority when I say that I can’t get enough of Grant Scott’s AE71 Corolla.

Here’s a nice little clip of the car set to the sounds of Hendrix…

I want one.

2

full of WIN!

3

Yeah sweet car, carlos would be proud of that 'spirited driving' at the end.

4

Nice, I would have covered the number plate though...the way the media have been lately regarding "hoons"min Australia this might be the next vid to end up on ACA.

5

Liking the Touge Heroes banner on the car!!!

6

This is how its done in Aus!!!

But I agree with Cowboydave.....Today Tonight might steal the footage and creater their very own Crazy Carlo.

7

Yeh Cowboydave is right. Your not doing this guy any favours by posting his name or numberplate because if it leaks to one of the Current Affair shows over here. He will lose his licence and his car and might even see jail time. Please edit the video so you cant see his plates or they are blurred out.

8

also worried about A Current Affair or even cops themselves getting his plates and giving him a hard time

9

Wouldnt worry about ACA, but the more people mention it on here the more likely they will see it.

10

Grants car = Super Awesome

11

OHHH I CANT WAIT TIL SUMMER WHEN I GET MY COUPE OUT,, IS HE RUNNING A 4AGZE TO I NEED TO TALK TO THIS GUY DOES ANY ONE KNOW HOW TO CONTACT THIS DUDE

12

wow - how lame is the "drifting in Japan" bullshit at the end?

As if this dude isn't doing this on Australian roads.

Speedhunters just doesn't get it, obviously.

Pogratulowac fury :)

ae71-4agze hit me up an email at grant@grantscottphotography.com

15

forgive my ignorance, but what is the difference between the AE71 and the KE70 models?

16

HKY23 - *Massive Facepalm*

Cheers for the comments guys

The only way the police are going to find out, is if you keep writing things about aca in your replys. If they do a simple google search thanks to you guys whining about being caught, is likely to lead to the very thing your whining about.

You dont think aca will type stuff into google and look for this kinda stuff.

Loose lips sink ships.

Good to see you using your car grant! Using it well too.

18

Thanks Beally, thats pretty much what i meant.

Kolbotn Kid, a ke70 is a 4kc powered 1.3 carby motor, and an ae71 is a 4ac 1.6 carby which shares the same gearbox & crossmember as a 4age motor, so basically any 4a motor can plonk straight in.

19

i love you grant scott.

no homo.

you're my inspiration for my TE, check out my build thread on my wordpress, it's nothing special. did you put in that gze yet?

20

The ze has been in for a while, it wasnt untill i saw this video that i realised how much of a whine it makes... i thought it just sounded like any other 4a, sounds nuts!

Check this out too guys

Thanks for the answer Grant Scott. We only got the KE70 here in Norway:(

22

Yours are way more rad though. They're Enkeis, right? Mine is shitty 14x7 +0 haha. Sweet blog man, I added you to my blogroll, hopefully you can add me too! Cheers!

23

THANX GRANT!! ILL BE IN TOUCH SOON, GOT A FEW TECH QUESTIONS ABOUT THE ZE MOTOR, HERES HOW MINE SOUNDED WHEN WE FINALLY GOT IT TO TURN OVER, WE TURNED THE IDLE DOWN AND IT SEEMED TO MINIMIZE THE BOGGING BUT ITS STILL A LIL ROUGH...

HOPE THIS LINK WORKS

24

Yea Ze's are always very rough, as soon as you put a FMIC on there is no hope of having a consistant idle. Mine is quite level, but its constantly sitting at 2000rpm... yea, the neighbours love it....

My spare wheels are performance wheels, im guessing theyre an enkei copy or something... cheap wheels, good size, they do the trick.

4AGZE sounds great with Hendrix... cheers!
