Random Snap>>playing With Toys

The UPS man dropped off my new camera this afternoon, and once I got it all charged up I couldn't figure out what to test it out on.

Then I stared above me and saw some of the miniature cars sitting on a shelf.

And so I present my first action shot with the new light capturing device (to use Linhbergh's words).

I have a few of these toy cars too! Love the way the Japanese deform things and make it look good!

4

Sweet camera?

5

Guessing you're not being serious when you say that's a Z mat...

6

lol dope camera....where can i get a model skyline like that lol

7

I have a few of these. Bought mine at a local Toys'R'Us. I have a JZX71, 1st gen MarkII, and a couple of AE86's. Cool little toys, just gotta keep them away from my crazy kids.

8

EOS 7D! :O congrats, i'm still trying to save up for some new glass on my ol' D200

.

also, Kenmeris are wicked :)

9

Eos 1D Mark IV?

10

Yeah this is a cheap pull back toy I bought for 400 yen or something. I didn't have worry when it crashed off the desk during my "photoshoot".

11

could you post all of your car toys? I have about 30 hotwheels and a couple other biggers tuned.

12

What new camera is it? =D

13

If it's a 7D, I'll be closely following your posts from now, as I'm currently debating whether I should settle for the 7D or stretch for a 5D MkII...

14

More importantly, you've got a 7D Mike? Jammy sod.......

15

16

Haha, that's a sweet car. ;) Awesome camera.... Bit too much for my lack of skills, but maybe someday I'll get there. I hope.

19

'light capturing device', is he referring to a datalogger for radiation in the visible spectrum?

20

Yep, it's a 7D. Looking forward to taking it out "in the field", but so far I'm very happy. Seems like a great replacement for my worn out 40D.

21

choro-Q!!!

22

Is that one of those cars that pulls wheelies? Also, aren't they sold with coffee in Japan?

23

I'm not sure if this is a Tomy pullback or Bit Char-G, but I collect the 1/64 scale RC Bit Char-Gs/Zip Zaps/MicroSizers. I've probably got 20 rolling chassis and 50 bodies for em. Even got a scale model of PIR to race em on.

24

R -- There was a set of Skyline Choro-Q's sold as a promotion with Wonda Coffee, I believe. I have the entire set of those, this isn't one of them, sadly. :/

25

Looks a bit long for a Choro-Q. Awesome anyways though xD

26

Sweet skyline

27

haha i know thats a skyline but at a glance it looks just like yuta's 240z with the overfenders and the black hayashi's!

28

umm...wallpaper? plz?

30

Dope pickup, Mike!

Are we going to be seeing some videos from you now that you have this beast? Looking forward to tue shots from the 7D. Definitely my next body.
