I have made a final selection of my favorite shots from 2009, a year that seemed to have flown by rather quickly. As the saying goes, when you are having fun time sure does fly! Here is to an even more exiting 2010!!
Mooneyes Street Car Nationals, Odaiba, Tokyo. Spotted this beautiful orange 240ZG parked up in front of a conbini at this year’s Mooneyes Street Car Nationals. I have cultured a rather incurable love for the S30 so expect to see more crazy S30s from Japan in 2010!
Spring Drift Matsuri, Ebisu Touge Course, Fukushima-ken. A 180SX heading up the tight winding touge course at Ebisu.
Spring Drift Matsuri, Ebisu Minami Course, Fukushima-ken. This picture pretty much sums up what the Drift Matsuri is all about.
Izu Skyline, Fukushima-ken. This KPGC10 reminds us all of the history of the GT-R, a legendary machine to say the least.
Kazama Auto Queen Battle, Nikko Circuit, Tochigi-ken. A Mitsubishi Evo 6 driver tackling the first corner at Nikko completely sideways with smooth 4-wheel drifts. Very cool to watch!
MSC Challenge Round 8, Honjyo Circuit, Saitama-ken. AE86 all crossed up at Honjyo.
Fuji Speedway, Shizuoka-ken. R35 tuning has taken some pretty big steps this year and the Mine’s GT-R is one of the most recognized out there. Unfortunately Mine’s will not be at the 2010 Tokyo Auto Salon.
Mugen HQ, Asaka City, Saitama-ken. This “Double R” is one car that has had a lot of NSX enthusiasts dreaming in 2009.
Rauh Welt, Kashiwa City, Chiba-ken. The Natty Dread. Do I need to say more?

Toyo Tires Turnpike, Shizuoka-ken. Explosive performance in a sedate looking 4-door sedan, precisely the reason I loved the Audi RS6. More on RS6s in 2010….
Summer Drift Matsuri, Ebisu Nishi Course, Fukushima-ken. ZZ20 Soarer sitting in the pits at Ebisu.
Fuji Speedway, Fukushima-ken. Yet another Garage Saurus car. JDM Ferrari, love it!
Nikko, Tochigi-ken. It’s amazing what you can find by accident sometimes.
Sendai Hi-land Raceway, Miagi-ken. The Nissan GT-R SpecV, a revelation to drive on track but a price tag that is hard to comprehend.
Toyo Tires Turnpike, Shizuoka-ken. The coolest BMW M5 ever, built by ChekShop of Yokohama.
Tokyo Motorshow, Makuhari Messe, Chiba-ken. The future is looking bright thanks to Toyota and the upcoming FT-86.
Tec-Arts, Yashio City, Saitama-ken. Who says hachirokus are only good for drifting? The Tec-Arts N2 racer is one of the fastest 4AG powered cars in Japan.
D1 Grand Prix Round 1, Ebisu Minami Course, Fukushima-ken. Kuma yet again, shooting Minami in his CZ4A.

yes the FT-86 - very hot, but i dont think that this will be the final design.

There all stunning, but I love the 180 against the wall at Ebisu. As well as the GTR with Mt. Fuji in the back, beautiful. Looking forward to 2010 Dino!
