Random Snap>>honda Ev-n Concept

With Dino’s fantastic Hakosuka feature and our JCCS coverage it seems like we’ve been on a bit of Nostalgic JDM kick this week. Sticking with that theme for a moment, we have the Honda EV-N Concept, which will be shown at the upcoming Tokyo Motor Show. Although it features a high tech electric drivetrain, the exterior was clearly inspired by the original Honda N360 of the late ’60s.

Anyone else think this would look awesome dropped on 12 or 13-inch RS Watanabes or SSR’s?

I LOVE IT !

I'd take one of these before a Smart any day !

4

sure as hell is better then the smart car, or the iQ. i can already feel it growing on me.

*Shoots arm frantically into the air to Mike's question*

6

I reckon it needs about 4 inches taken out of the lower body section, beneath the grille, the whole way around the car. Then it would be bloody fantastic.

7

shame it would never make it the U.S. it just can't. Honda wouldn't be that daring. Come on Honda, I dare you.

8

@ In - I photoshopped it quickly cutting along beneath the grille on the front, but then from above the wheel arches on the side all the way across (moving the bottom section closer to the deep crease line) and I concur... much improved.

I wouldn't own one but could see how done right it'd be kinda cool.

LOLOLOLOLOL...........

looks like Mr. Bean's lime green mini cooper.....but newer of course and white

10

Are those lawn chairs?! hehe jk

Damn, my coffee came trough my nose all over the screen and it still looks awfull.

But with a set of nice wheels it will be cute ^^

12

Would look incredible on some SSRs.

Mmmm.

Aside from the obvious N360 homage, this thing really reminds me of a Nissan Pao, ironically itself a late '80s model meant to look retro at the time.

.

Also, if we're on the subject of comparing up-and-coming small city and/or electric cars, my vote is with VW's Up! series ;) (which consists of the Up!, Space-Up! and E-UP!, the space-up having been introduced at last year's Tokyo Motor Show, somewhat fitting, eh?)

.

and the tread pattern is kinda neat

14

its a minicooper old school version, retro thing jaja

15

Looks like Wall-E :D...i like it even though it's so small

16

I love it, but unfortunately from what I have read, Honda has no plans on actually sending it to production :(

17

Some different rims and I would seriously drive it! Its probably faster than an origional N360 cause of its electric engine XD

18

I like it. hopefully honda all electric power plant will be better than their hybrid power plant which blows. 35 MPG from a hybrid is shameful.

19

this thing is really cool, i think it would look coolest with hayashi streets
