I'm not gonna argue with the fact that Smoky is incredibly smart and think outside the box all the time. Props for that.
But if I were him, I would have kept the original 2JZ with twins and call it a day. To break the 400 Km/h you need aerodynamic and hp.....and it seems that the Toyota Century engine "only" makes 850 hp......not enough to get even closer to the record.....(I think he clocked around 356 or so).
A 2JZ with +1200 hp would have helped him getting closer to his target......just my .02

Hahaha.. Chiba-kun is hilarious as always. This Supra is a blast.. Wonder how good it might be against RX7 at Wangan.. Just curious.
@Alex: The century V12, if i remember correctly, IS 2 2JZ's that share a crank. He's merely the first guy to bother tuning it. Remember how long it took the supra to make the kind of power it does these days? They were only turning out power ratings in the 600's when the supra ended production.
I guess he wanted to tune the v12 because no one has turned it before to the level he wanted. To try something new, it always helps business if you are the first to do something as well
