I can’t wait for the time attack season to get going here in Japan, starting with the Tsukuba Super Lap Battle in early December. For me there is no better event on the calendar, and this year, like back in 2007, the guys from High Octane Racing in Australia will be there with their new Advan-sponsored R34 GT-R. This video shows its first ever track outing at Oran Park. The custom-dry sumped RB30 drivers all four wheels via the 6-speed Holinger transmission. Apparently, the AWD system wasn’t working well on the day so it was a bit of a handful, precisely what makes this video so cool to watch.
