Not sure if this is intentional but I do know it looks great. The cars are racing in a new series called the International GT Open, the season opener was held this weekend on the circuit of Imola. The series are open to GT2 and GT3 supercars, so a lot of cars from FIAGT and ACO are also running in this series.

Could've used a slower shutter speed for that shot. Looks like as if they were parked next to each other than drifting if it wasn't for the tire smoke. Still dope though, none the less....
The International GT Open has been around since 2006. It was formed by Jesus Pareja as an extension of the Spanish GT series.
It acts mainly as a support series to the FIA World Touring Car Championship filling the gap that occurred when the FIA GT Championship and WTCC split......a bad day's work the end of the SuperRacing weekends.
The standard of cars and drivers is below that of either the top current FIA GT or the GT classes of the LMS but it is still fun to watch...........
