We’ve been showing quite a few drift and time attack builds in the past few weeks, and I’m sure you’ll agree that the level of fabrication skills being applied to cars in our scene has really stepped up a notch.

This video is a chance for us to see what Gardella Racing have up their sleeves. Know the saying “Beauty is only skin deep”? Well to my eyes, I quite like what I’m seeing under the surface :>

Nice post !

Wow, that just gave me an idea. We need a Caterham drift car! Yeah, it'd be a death trap but how awesome would that be?

sweet stock car

No we need someone who is a balls out sav and is willing to become a professional Cappuccino drifter!!!

6

cool vid, but seriously itsnot far of a space framed drift car, none of the car left?

7

What is interesting about the Solstice is that it uses a frame rail type chassis. So they haven't really needed to cut away much of the structure in order to create a tube style chassis..... the car is well suited to being converted to a race chassis.

Sickest FD car built!!!!

Great video. This car looks really well built. Gary Gardella and crew can build a mean mean car.... This looks really good. Can't wait to see this Pontiac Solstice in action! Some pics here on it - http://www.gmtunersource.com and here direct http://tunersource.gmblogs.com/blog/archive/2009/03/23/sideways-in-style and here as well - v.

Thanks for this video post Speedhunters - cool post.

This car completely misses the point of drifting and drift cars.

Sad to see US drifting going this direction.
