I just love the way the rear end of this car looks! It's a 1967 Mazda Cosmo Sport, lovingly being kept in mint condition by the head of Mazda's Director of Product and Corporate Communications. This photo was an old snapshot I took with my point-and-shoot Canon SD800 IS pocket camera when the car was sitting in the lobby of Mazda's R&D center a year or two ago. I just love the long, wide, sleek rear end of this car. And those tail lights! Gorgeous.

Truly one of my favorite Japanese cars and my favorite Mazda. I remember seeing an episode of "My Classic Car" which featured the one Jay Leno has- what a sound! I've always thought the designers must've been drooling over some late '50s- early '60s Thunderbirds when they penned the Cosmo. The ironic thing is, even though I'm a self-proclaimed U.S. car nut and one time Japanese car hater, I think the overall result is much better looking than the Tbird.
you know, the styling really reminds me of the finned cars of the 50's and it looks good
If the lights weren't red and there wasn't an exhaust poking out, it could almost be the front!
Those taillight make it look like a spaceship, easily one of the best looking Japanese cars.
wtf is this. never heard of such a thing
I was just browsing my hard drive for Mazda photo's when I found this picture taken outside RE Amemiya
I LIKE TO BAY THIS CAR FOR MY COLECTION
