All our eyes are focused on the Red Bull World Drifting Championship, we would almost forget that the Spoon NSX-R is doing its round during the Macua GP. Mike featured the car already but not in the state it is now. The driver, Tatsuru Ichishima, crashed the car after qualifying in 9th place. In the last corner he lost control and crashed the car. Luckily the driver walked away without any harm, we only hope they can repair the car in time for the race.

I'm surprised speedhunters hasn't featured the spoon rsx that launched and crashed into the bleachers at Infineon Raceway.

They did fix it in time. I was at the race and snapped a few photo's of it.
I did not see it after the race in the pit area though, I assume the Spoon boys packed it up
right away.

Spoon fixed the car using a stock NSX-R front bumper and raced placing 3rd in their Class and 6th overall in the Macau Grand Prix.
The reason for crashing was a previous car had crashed at that spot and the clean up was less than par leaving it still slippery, which added to Ichi San's crash.
