Just got back to the office, after being at the Port of Long Beach all day for the Red Bull World Drift Championship setup day and Formula D Pro Am… so I just thought I'd show some of the scenes today. The backdrop is really cool… all the shipping containers and cranes and bridges surrounding the port… I dig it. It looks very cool, kind of like (okay, don't roll your eyes too hard here) a video game. Okay, sorry, I said it. So sue me. Actually, no, don't sue me. I don't have any money to give you anyway.

Back to the pics… here's the cool backdrop of the event, as the sun began going down… and since it's Nissan month, I captured a 350Z in the foreground as it drove away… it was from M-Workz!

Here's the inside of Stephan Papadakis's Rockstar trailer, with Tanner's 350Z inside. Man, I was just telling Steph how baller his trailer was, they have power, AC, heater, and even a sink with running water, that drains into a JDM HKS oil drum. Pretty damn dope. Help me get one of those clear Rockstar refrigerators for my office, man!!!

Here's our boy Chris Rado's Scion TC time attack car, on the edge of the trailer lift… I thought it looked cool in this light, with the cranes in the background.

Oh snap son! Driftspeed S15 Silvia, with those chrome multicolor lip Gram Lights wheels, and a "Garage Sift" sticker?! It means Katsuhiro Ueo is here to pilot the S15… too bad he wasn't in his AE86 though. I love his hard transitions as he flicks his 86 from side to side!!!!! Super dope. He's just whatevers in an S15. I love Driftspeed though! Call them immediately to get your DG5 coilovers!!! Do it NOW!

Coming straight out of Canada… I haven't seen a G35 in drifting for a minute now!

Damn, the people from Red Bull even have this custom logoed old school bus?! I think it looks super dope! I know it's not a fast car or anything, sorry for going off topic!

Damn, they even had a fresh double decker bus! I would love to have one of these to party in! Super cool!

Okay, okay… I know it's not car related, but I was just impressed by all the customized logoed stuff floating around! Like the tents and these metal laser cut fences?! Sheesh!!! You should see the Red Bull VIP section structure! They had some nice leather couches all out there, and tons of metal tables and chairs, and the building itself looked like a permanent structure, even though it's a temporary thing they put up at their different events! These guys are ballin out of control! (So how about some leather couches and shade for the media people, Red Bull? Hook it up!) Man, I might have to see if one of those leather couches can fit into my Tacoma… or a clear fridge or something! The Cipher Garage office needs some furniture love! haha (JK, don't worry, Red Bull)
