Random Snap>>atenza Wagon

I guess I have kind of been on a wagon kick lately. Check out this Mazda Atenza (Mazda6) wagon I found on Minkara today. I have seen a lot of cool Atenzas in Japan and it makes me kind of want to buy one at some point. The owner of this particular wagon swapped out the stock front bumper for the OEM front bumper from the MazdaSpeed Atenza and it looks awesome. It rides low thanks to a set of Trust DMR coilovers and the the wheels are Advan Kreuzer Xi's in 19"x8.5J +45 in the front and +38 in the rear. This is as about as good as it gets and I think something like this would make an awesome daily driver.

Rather swish, neat find Mr.Garret.

Euro plates seem to be popular in Japan, I've seen pics of a Daihatsu with WOB plates in K-Style magazine.

2

Wow, that looks soooo good. The proportions just seem to be bob on

3

Sure Euro plates are popular but putting a German plate on a Mazda doesn't make any sense.

4

wow.

orgasmic! :-x

5

It doesn´t make sense at all to put a other numberplate behind the real one.

You only see the half of it.

6

if you click on the link the evo spoilers are cool it looks a lot better on that car makes me want one too

7

However converting the whole front does make (a bit) sense:

Such a dope find. Throw my road bike in the back and life is good.

9

Unless you're in Germany :P

10

i think it has something to do with European car build quality or style.

damn this doesnt help me. I've been thinking of selling my s14 to get a MAZDASPEED 6 and full autoexe it out. Throw some AVS/ADVANS on it and do some sport vip sedan jump off. ahhh decisions decisions!

im a sucker for wagons. I've seen a MS6 wagon in dark plum with the kenstyle lip kit, air ride and dumped on Holstens...the car looked sick.

Regarding the licence plate. We (you and I), don't really know what's going on in the head of the owner of this slick Mazda, so we could stay here and speculate all we want, and maybe never find an answer.

Maybe the owner of this clean Mazda went to Germany.....he liked it so much and brought back a licence plate, who knows?

This looks really aggressive for a wagon. I think you are right Mike, you could haul a load of kit around in that and still be driving something that turns heads :)

I would love to try this with my 06 hatch! I'm wondering how to do it though
