Random Snap>> Factor X Nsx

Let me tell you a story real quick. Yesterday, I drove all the way to Willow Springs Raceway (about a 2 hour drive through the scorching heat of the Mojave Desert) to shoot the Super Street Super Lap Battle. However, when I showed up at Willow to sign for my media pass, the lady at the gate said, "What? What's Super Street? I don't know of anything like that happening today…"

What?! Oh hell no. It appears we had a bit of a mix up. We received wrong information, and the date we were given for the Super Lap Battle was wrong. Just to confirm, I called Super Street's editor, Jonny Wong, on his cellphone, asking him, "Yo where you at?" "Dude, I'm at the office." OMG! The date WAS wrong. Sigh. JDM Wong laughed at me and said, "Damn, you drove all the way to Willow Springs just now? That sucks! Our event is next weekend, man. I thought you knew?" WTH!!!!

Oh no! What will we do now… I've already committed to go to Las Vegas for Formula D this weekend, but we also promised to do some Time Attack coverage! Good thing for our readers, the Redline Time Attack and Live Sockets Battle are happening at California Speedway in two weeks – the weekend of July 19 and 20. We'll just go to that event.

I just found out that this NSX from Factor X will be competing in the series too. The wide body work looks very aggressive! Aesthetically, I think the car would look cooler if it were lower, but I'm sure there is a reason why they made the car sit this way. I suppose all cars can't have my style of stance and sticker placement…

Come to California Speedway in Fontucky and keep an eye out for this NSX at the Live Sockets Battle! We sure will!

I think that high ride height at the back adds to the aggresive look of the car. Unlucky driving all that way for nothing man, on the bright side I guess you got to drive through one of the coolest landscapes in the world.

Man that blows about the drive, i can imagine it, i once drove to quebec from ontario for an 86 meet in the summer with a 35 degree C weekend :) , no a/c, no p/s (the way an 86 should be) and it was sooo brutal, but sooo worth it when i got there lol.

That NSX is crazy nuts though, i love how the front bumper well looks to be like 2-3 feet deep hehe mmm so nice. All in all though mint car....and i f-ing love the wing and widebody!!!! Oh hey Antonio, jover says hey :) he's a good buddy of mine and we started talking about some stuff, i told him about my plans to peace out from canada and head to japan for a while (always been something i have been dying to do, plus I'm craving to get back into a nice 86, everything here is juuuunk!! or $12,000 :-P) and he told me to talk to ya just to find out what that experience would be like.

I've been following this site, checking out the articles and pictures and i looooove it man!!! you guys have some ridiculous stuff on here, it's been my start page for a couple of weeks lol really really good work man.

wow i have not seen this car since the new paint job! Used to be all black, looks better now!

6

I liked the black paint job a lot more but I guess you have to take advantage of whatever sponsors you can get. I dont remember this car sitting so high in its Modified Mag feature

7

All I can say is if any of us owned this bad boy car we would be very happy.Paint jobs and coil-over adjustments are common place for people who love sports cars.

I'd love to see this go up against Esprit's turbocharged NSX in a time attack battle.

Where can I buy this?

Where did you get this photo? it was done privately on a friday @ red rock. the car is sitting high because we used a flat bed trailer. the car is adjusted that high so we don't damage anything. the bumper also is removed during towing. these were test shots for our own amusement. if you notice we also didn't have the rear diffuser on the car.
