The Autovisie Time Attack is a Dutch event that takes place on Circuit Park Zandvoort. They have different classes in which people can drive their cars. I will show the Pro Street class because it's the most fun and it only allows cars that are streetlegal. This year the fastest time (2:00.163) was driven by Kevin Go in the R33 you see in the picture above.

The car has a 900bhp engine build by GT-Art in the UK. Kevin came with the car in the morning, not on a trailer but just with the car itself. Driving to an event with a 900bhp car and take the win is quite a achievement if you ask me.

This EVO looks like it was made for the Time Attack, in Japan it's also a very popular platform, just think of the Cyber EVO and the HKS carbon monster. Sven Van Elven drove this black beauty to a respectable second place (2:00.304). It features black rims and surprisingly no rear spoiler, the engine has a output of 500bhp

This is something you don't see very often, especially not in Time Attack. This Dodge Viper RT10 was driven by Elmar Heystra and he crossed the line in 2:02.397, it would result in a third place finish.

Another R33, this time driven by Marcel Roeleveld. By the looks of it he is really pushing the car, in the end he would finish in fourth place (2:03.160).

This brand new Corvette Z06 belonged to Cor Dame, the car is has been tuned by APP and has the same setup as the GT3 with around 640bhp. Cor would finish in fifth place with a time of 2:05.923.

Who said that older cars couldn't be competitive, or is it all down to the driver? Whatever the reason is, Rolf van der Heide managed to finish sixth (2:06.174) with this 25 year old BMW 520i. The 2 liter engine has been replaced by a M5 engine from the E28.
