Collectibles>> St. Martins, Uk

Just a few weeks ago, Rod and I were in London for some Speedhunters-related meetings… but we happened across this die-cast shop in Covent Garden, called St Martin’s  Accessories Ltd! Hmm, maybe it wasn’t really a kewinkydink –  after all, Rod lived in London for several years when he was directing music videos… annnnnd we both really love die cast cars! You know we had to stop in and check it out!

I absolutely loved the diecast of this AMG Mercedes Benz touring car. I love the aggressive stance of the car, and the subtle details, like the Dunlop logos on the tires, and the nice offset wheels! (Are those Revolution 5 spoke wheels?) I came really close to buying it, but then I realized that our US Dollar is only worth roughly half of an English pound… so I decided I better hold off for now. I’m on a budget!

Oh no. So tempting! Look at this wall of die cast! Most of these are 1/43 scale Minichamps and Ebbro die cast miniatures, but they had alot of cool European brands of die casts there too.

Rod was absolutely flipping out when he saw this huge scale replica of this Bentley Le Mans prototype in the window! He is a hardcore Le Mans fan! I thought it was super cool, but out of my budget, so I decided to just take a photo!

If you have some extra change in your bank account, I think this would look super cool on your bookshelf though!

The shop owners were very nice, and allowed us to take photos. Apparently they have alot of return customers who stop by their shop all the time to feed their urges of die cast collecting, like this guy sitting here looking at a motorsports book! Next time I come back to London, I better bring alot more cash for spending money!
